Obession

Yesterday was a day of chasing obsessions.  After sleeping in (I was going to wake up at 5 to go and get sunrise photos in Hunington, but Christy talked me out of it.)  I “heartlessly left my poor wife to deal with the children. While I frolicked about in search of Peppers and brought back peaches as a truce offering.”  I wouldn’t have describe it that way but I guess the essence is the same.  I gave up on the pictures, but had to drive to Perry Utah on highway 89 after having someone from work come back from there with Blut Jolokias.  The Blut is the worlds hottest pepper measuring 4 times hotter than the habenero.   While writing this I decided it would be a good idea to try it.  So I took a bite.  Mama Jama that is one hot pepper my mouth went numb and everything. I was still in pain for a half hour afterwards.  I can’t wait to cook with them.  People at work say I have issues.

In the afternoon we went to Provo for a wedding.  You’ll notice a lack of pictures from that because by the time we got there the reception was over.  There was baptism in the ward at the same time and we tried to get everything in.  However, the real reason I was willing to drive into Provo was the chance to go up to Bridal Veil falls and take pictures.  It was awesome the kids playing in the river and me climbing the side of the mountain for “the shot”  I will be saving that for the photo challenge.  I also got my daughters “school” pictures taken.  I’m not going to post them here but if you want to see them email me and I will send you an invite.
