An event that I live for happened this week. Christy called to tell me that the TV had died. While generally that kind of news is met with much rejoicing by myself, (and everyone with a Y chromosome). However, I could not help but bemoan the timing of it all. I have worked VERY hard to eliminate all of my consumer debt, and I am almost there.  Oh well, I ended up with a 37 inch 720p LCD and to my credit it was the cheapest one I could find.  All I can say at the end of the day is that HDTV rocks.
