Many of the readers of this blog know of my fondness, some might say addiction, to the Elixir of Life a.k.a. Mountain Dew.  Anyway I have seen a film on the internet about making a “glow” stick out of Dew, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Baking soda.  I was SO excited picturing in my head 2 liter bottles of glow, camping trip chemistry, and fun for the whole.  Anyway I went to find the recipe, only to find out that the whole thing was a hoax.  Oh the tragedy, whatever will I do with the 14.3 gallons of Dew that I bought for this?
