I planted a Red Maple tree last year. By the end of the summer I was sure it was a goner. I figured that I would be digging it out and planting a new one. But, yesterday I saw that leaves were starting to bud out. Yeah!!

Just in case anyone was wondering, I am a very socially aware person. I used my government stimulus check to plant trees, a peach, and a couple of maple trees, and a lillac bush. Stimulating the economy and lowering my carbon footprint in one fail swoop. I love multi-tasking. For those of you that are wondering, this post was dripping with sarcasm. |
